We’ve all heard the old saying: “Curiosity killed the cat.” And then, in the same breath, someone might add, “But the cat had nine lives.” Mixed messages, right? 😕
Over time, I’ve come to see these phrases differently, because in my experience, curiosity doesn’t kill—it creates. It’s curiosity that gets you closer to your purpose. It’s curiosity that drives innovation, fuels learning, and opens doors you didn’t even know existed. Staying with the questions in your heart—no matter how uncertain or uncomfortable—is often the very thing that leads to clarity. So feed it.

In a world that’s constantly changing, the most valuable skill isn’t knowing everything— it’s being willing to learn, and that starts with curiosity.
So, whether the cat had one life or nine, here’s my take: curiosity is the spark that keeps us moving forward. In my story, curiosity doesn’t kill, it builds.
